A Cat Worth More

I have been thinking about the kittens and what to do about them. Recently, I discovered that hairless cats are in demand for those allergic to animals and they can cost $500 or more. Immediately, I went home, got out the shears, and tested the theory out on one of my own cats. This is my "country" version of a hairless cat. I really think I'm onto something here! Petting them takes a little getting used to, my hand kept sticking, but I think it will be alright..... Now to find the right buyer.....

What a beautiful day for the beach! It was in the seventies. Just a perfect day for the coast. And one of my favorite areas too! This is right across the street from Kathy's mom.

We love our campfire! We lit it at 2 and put it out at 7. It was a really nice afternoon for it.

Burn Ban Lifted!

What a great way to end the vacation! I found that the burn ban has been lifted for the county, and it rained last night so everything was wet down and ready to go! We dedicated our first fire to Vickie, our friend in Lincoln City, we did not get a chance to see. Her thoughts about the work cats....
"And watch out, 5 kittens will be 10 very very soon...your 5th will become a case.." Thank you for the advice and humor!

Vacation Update

The weather is just terrific here at the beach.... the trip down was just fine, and everything has been going well! I've already been to the mall... about to sit down to a good dinner. Later will be some visiting time. I'll have some pictures when I get back.
