Flying

I have not tried to post a video before, but this is very interesting. There is a working model of this out there, with a three minute video inside a large hanger type building. It has to do with the "Coanda Effect", something that was discovered back in the 1930's. This is made using a model plane engine and its radio control, I think. The idea is to send air down over the bell shape for lift, and flaps to control direction. Pretty neat....

Dancing

At one point I wanted to learn how to draw people. They are the hardest. In scenery you can make mistakes and nobody will know. People have to have the correct proportions, nose in the right place.... etc. Like a lot of others, I have a lot of problems doing hands and feet.

Mixers Forever

When I got to work last Monday we got word that a truck was going to deliver some mixers. We found a good place to put them.

Blue Beach

This is a little 4X6 doodle with watercolor done in about 20 minutes. I'm practicing to do more so I can get on daily painters. You have to post a painting a day for 30 consecutive days (and keep it up) before you can join. There is a link on the right worth checking out.... there are some real nice paintings there!
