Different Clouds
A different look in the clouds when I got to work yesterday... still caused from smoke in the air from the fire. All of the rays of light shooting down away from the sun was pretty cool. As of last night the fire was around 75,000 acres and still expected to grow. They figure it will actually burn until the first snows in October or so unless we get a lot of rain, which is unlikely.

Have had so much company the past 3 weeks I haven't logged on, and haven't kept up with whats up in your end of the country. These pictures are amazing! These fires, like the ones here in California, bring home the extent of global warming, the droughts, the infestations of the various insects (beatles down here, normally killed off by colder weather) that are killing our trees, laying our forests open to wild fires. Was happy to hear Gov. Schwartznegger and England's Blair at least are concerned (signed a pact)since our administration isn't.
