Seventh Post

The first spot that I went camping in Oregon was about 50 miles up the Siletz River at a place called Moonshine Park which was a bit crowded but it was a hot day. This spot was our swimming hole, we had it to ourselves and the water was just absolutely clear. And cold. It was a nice relaxing day and just a short walk from the campsite. Upstream a little bit was the main swimming area with quite a few people and a lot of inner tubes and water mattresses. I'll take the peace and quiet thank you. Too bad I didn't find this spot sooner, I'll bet fall colors would be pretty neat in here. Just seeing that grass area in the left of the picture makes me want to set up a tent there!
