One of my favorite eras in history. It was a stormy time to be sure, and a lot of hard work, adverse conditions, and unpleasantness.... but the Freedom!

It does seem such a 'romantic' era...ahh, the swashbuckling romance novels that took place aboard such ships, with pirates and damsels in such distress! Ah, my good Captain Morgan! To be sure, life was not what we enjoy now, or was it????
